Collaboration
Comindwork provides several features to help teams stay informed and coordinate work on records.
Followers
Subscribe to a record to receive notifications when it changes. Followers are notified about:
- State changes (actions fired on the record)
- Field updates
- New comments
- File attachments
To follow a record, open it and click the Follow button. You can unfollow at any time.
Followers are visible on the record form, showing who is watching the record.
Followers receive both in-app notifications and email notifications. You can manage notification preferences and mute noisy records using suppression lists.
Mentions
Mention colleagues in rich text fields and comments using the @ symbol:
- Type
@followed by the person's name - Select the person from the autocomplete dropdown
- The mentioned person receives a notification
Mentions work in any field that uses the Lexical rich text editor, including:
- Record descriptions
- Comments
- Wiki pages
Read/unread tracking
Records and comments have read/unread status to help you track what needs your attention.
How it works
- Unread markers appear on records and comments you have not yet viewed
- Records become read when you open them
- New comments on a record you have already read mark it as unread again
- You can manually toggle the read/unread status
In lists
Unread records are visually distinguished in list views. List record counts show both total and unread numbers (e.g., "42 / 3 unread").
Notifications
Comindwork sends notifications based on your role and subscription:
- In-app notifications - appear in the notification panel
- Email notifications - configurable per user
Notification suppression lists let you mute specific records or apps that generate too much noise.
