Mobile support

Comindwork provides a responsive web experience that adapts to mobile phones and tablets. No separate mobile app is needed - access the full platform from your mobile browser.

Responsive layout

The interface adapts to smaller screens:

  • Sidebar drawer - collapses automatically on mobile; swipe right to open, swipe left to close
  • Content area - expands to full width when the drawer is closed
  • Record forms - fields stack vertically for easier scrolling and input
  • Lists - horizontal scrolling for grid views; card view works well on narrow screens

Touch support

The platform supports touch interactions on mobile and tablet devices:

  • Tap - opens records, triggers actions, selects items
  • Swipe - opens/closes the sidebar drawer
  • Long press - context menus on supported elements
  • Pinch to zoom - supported in chart and visualization views

Hover-dependent interactions (tooltips, hover previews) are adapted for devices without hover capability, such as Microsoft Surface tablets.

Cards and boards work best on narrow screens. The table grid supports horizontal scrolling. Mobile usage accounts for under 10% of platform sessions.

The breadcrumb bar (Workspace > App > List > Record) remains visible on mobile for navigation context. Tap any breadcrumb element to navigate back.

App switcher

Access the app grid from the sidebar. The 4-column grid layout adjusts to fit the screen width.

The global search is accessible from the top bar. Results display in a mobile-friendly format.

Working with records on mobile

  • Viewing - record forms display in a single-column layout
  • Editing - tap fields to enter edit mode; the on-screen keyboard appears for text fields
  • Actions - fire workflow actions (transitions) from the action bar
  • Comments - add comments using the rich text editor
  • Attachments - upload photos directly from the device camera

Offline support

Comindwork requires an active internet connection. All data is loaded from the server in real time. There are no offline capabilities - you cannot view cached records or queue edits for later sync.

Tips for mobile use

  • Use card or board view for lists - these formats work better on narrow screens than the table grid
  • Pin the drawer closed to maximize content area on small screens
  • Use the quick filter to find records without scrolling through long lists
  • Bookmark frequently used lists in your mobile browser for quick access
