# View app record

App records display in a structured form layout organized into sections.

## Record structure[​](#record-structure "Direct link to Record structure")

Each app record contains the following components:

### Action section[​](#action-section "Direct link to Action section")

Access available actions for modifying the record based on your permissions.

### Navigation breadcrumb[​](#navigation-breadcrumb "Direct link to Navigation breadcrumb")

View the workspace name, app name, and parent record with assigned tags for context.

### Field sections[​](#field-sections "Direct link to Field sections")

Record fields are organized into sections with customizable column layouts (one to six columns per section).

### Tabbed sections[​](#tabbed-sections "Direct link to Tabbed sections")

Additional tabs provide supplementary information including:

* related records from other apps
* less frequently used or edited fields
* contextual data specific to the record type

### Access indicators[​](#access-indicators "Direct link to Access indicators")

The top-right corner shows:

* number of people with access to the record
* profile images of recent viewers

### Record tools[​](#record-tools "Direct link to Record tools")

Available tools include:

* **Tagging** - add labels for organization and filtering
* **Attachments** - link files and documents to the record

### History tracking[​](#history-tracking "Direct link to History tracking")

The History section displays:

* record creation details
* recent modifications and contributors
* specific changes made to each field
